The arts have been shown to have a positive effect
on well-being. Our projects give people a chance to try a wide range
of creative arts in a supportive environment, where the emphasis is on 'having
a go' rather than getting it 'right'. We believe that everyone
has the capacity for creativity and aim to give space for people to discover
this within themselves. Through our workshops, we focus on creating a safe
place for self-expression leading to a positive experience for all
participants.
All of our packages can be adapted to suit your
specific time, numbers and content needs.
Changing Horizons
Our Changing Horizons course is aimed at adults who may be
struggling with their emotional well-being. The course can range in length from four weeks to twelve weeks to suit the needs of participants.
We focus on bringing together a supportive group to
learn new creative skills and boost self esteem. We create a non-judgemental environment for people to express themselves through the arts.
Our course works to increase a sense of well-being,
confidence and reduce feelings of isolation in participants. We are also happy to deliver one-off Changing horizons workshops, or longer term projects.
Purple Turtle Club
Our
programme for children and teenagers works with small groups to build mental
resilience and self-esteem. We include a wide range of creative activities,
which can be tailored to any special interests the group may have.
We encourage a sense of ownership, tolerance and
respect within our groups, and also work with the young people to improve
communication, empathy and understanding. We are also happy to deliver one-off Purple Turtle Club workshops addressing specific issues.
Purple Turtle Bespoke Workshops

of arts and crafts.
Whether its for a Brownie pack, a birthday party, a
